FEEDLOT TRADE MIX is a medicated stock food suitable to be fed as a complete feed for fattening beef cattle including steers and heifers from 250 Kg live weight to market. Feedlot Trade mix also provides all the macro, trace minerals and vitamins required by beef cattle.

Medication: Feedlot Trade Mix contain 28 mg/kg Monensin sodium to help improve feed conversion efficiency and assist in preventing feedlot bloat and coccidiosis.

Withholding Period: Nil

Feeding Directions:
  • Cattle not accustomed to grain feeding should be introduced to this stock food gradually or it may cause rumen acidosis and possible death.
  • Preferably feed medium quality hay to fill rumen up for first 1-2 days prior to feeding this feed.
  • Continued into from FEEDLOT STARTER MEAL after 1-2 weeks prior to feeding this feed.
  • If hand feeding, initially supply 1% live weight per head per day then gradually build up to full feeding by 10-14 days.
  • When feeding in self-feeders, allow free access setting shutters to only allow 50% of the bottom tray to be filled.
  • Ensure feed is available at all times. 
  • Ensure clean, cool, adequate water is available at all times.
