Lamb Feedlot Pellets

Norco's Lamb Feedlot Pellets are a quality grain based completed feed designed to successfully finish lambs over 35kg live weight in feedlots or restricted paddock conditions. Consistency in feeding is of paramount importance so that they maintain intake and profitable growth rates. Feedlot Lamb Pellets provide the nutrients required to promote excellent growth and fattening.

Medication - Lamb Feedlot Pellets contains 20mg/kg Monensin sodium for improved live weight gains, feed conversion efficiency and to help prevent Coccidiosis.

Feeding Directions

Provide palatable hay first day to fill rumen with chewable fibre prior to access to grain supplement.
Introduce at 0.5% to 1% liveweight per head per day and increase gradually over 7 to 14 days to decrease the risk of any metabolic disorder.
Ensure feed is available at all times. If it runs out start on a lower amount to prevent acidosis.
Ensure fresh clean adequate water is available at all times.

Lamb Background Pellets

Norco's Lamb Background Pellets are a high spec supplement designed to help balance the nutritional requirements of young weaned lambs that may be lacking in the rest of diet. The pellets provide supplementary protein, energy, vitamins, all necessary macro and micro vitamins in a palatable form to allow lambs being retained as future breeders or wool producers to avoid nutritional shortfalls.

Medication - Lamb Background Pellets contain Lasalocid Sodium at 33 mg/kg for improved live weight gains, feed conversion efficiency and to aid in the control of coccidiosis.

Feeding Directions

Lambs should be introduced to the pellets gradually.
The pellets are designed as a supplement to pasture and should be fed daily in trough, not ad lib in self feeders.
Introduce lambs to pellets at the rate of 200 grams per head per day and gradually increase to a maximum of 2% of body weight. E.g. 30kg lamb at 2% = 600 grams.
Adjust intake according to pasture availability

Sheep & Cattle Nuts

Norco's Sheep & Cattle Nuts are a quality grain based high protein supplement formulated as an energy/protein source to help maintain Sheep and Beef Cattle when forages are in short supply and /or poor digestibility is limiting intake. They also provide all the macro trace minerals and vitamins required by Sheep and Cattle.

Sheep & Cattle Nuts are designed to be fed out on the ground, avoiding the necessity to provide troughs and /or tubs. The nuts are easy for animals to pick up due to their larger diameter and robust consistency.

Sheep:- Feed up to 1% of liveweight per head per day to adult sheep in conjunction with a roughage source (Example 40kg ewe - feed up to 400g per day plus roughage source).

Calf Weaner Meal

Norco's Calf Weaner Meal is a medicated complete feed suitable to be fed to calves from 4 days of age to a maximum of 150kg live weight.

Medication - Calf Weaner Meal contains 45mg/kg Lasalocid Sodium to aid in the prevention of coccidiosis.

Norco's Hi-Pro Feedlot Meal or Pellets is a quality grain based complete feed for fattening beef cattle over 200kg liveweight. It is suitable for Steers, Heifers, Cows and Bulls. Hi-Pro Feedlot also provides all the macro trace minerals and vitamins required by Beef Cattle.

Medication - Hi-Pro Feedlot Meal or Pellets contains 22mg/kg Monensin sodium to help improve feed conversion efficiency and assist in preventing feedlot bloat and coccidiosis.

If hand feeding, feed from 0.05% to 1% liveweight per head per day in the first 7-14 days then continue to build up to full feeding. If feeding over 3kg per head pr day split into 2 to 3 feeds.
Commercial feeding in self feeders after introductory period, allow free access to feeders provided shutters only allow 50% of the tray to fill.
Ensure feed is available at all times.
