We are currently looking for a highly skilled, energetic and flexible Supervisor Plastics for our busy Injection Moulding operation in Lismore ice cream factory employing in excess of 140 staff including a team of 10 trade staff dedicated to maintenance activities.

This role is a full time permanent salaried position that requires the ability to work a flexible roster and after hours call outs as required.

The primary function of this position is to provide high quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the Injection Moulding plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance to achieve targeted production levels.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting and Machining essential.
  • Dual traded with electrical licence highly considered.
  • Experience in maintenance of plastics machinery - Injection Moulders and ancillary equipment.
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience.
  • Competent computer skills using SAP and Microsoft Suite.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
  • Ability to work in team environment, to be on call, and work overtime as required.

This role is a full time permanent salaried position that requires the ability to work a flexible shift roster and after hours call out roster as required.

The purpose of this position is the provision of preventative and corrective electrical maintenance as part of the factory’s maintenance team. Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following essential & desirable selection criteria.

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Demonstrated skills in industrial electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Experience in manufacturing / production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi faceted team environment
  • Current A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Demonstrated effective/ natural communication skills.
  • Availability for shiftwork (including night, weekend) and overtime
  • Current drivers licence
  • Experience with Omron / Allen Bradley PLC and Citect SCADA based automation systems.
  • Experience with test and calibration of instrumentation.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management

Desirable selection criteria

  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
  • Dairy manufacturing experience

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Engine Driver who will be committed to the operation, monitoring and logging of coal and oil fired boilers to supply steam for the processing of milk based in Labrador.

You will possess ammonia refrigeration plant experience within factory cold rooms including air conditioning and product cooling. You will also have experience with compressed air systems and chilled water systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will follow the Site Operational & safety procedures to ensure our customer orders are 100% in spec, in full, on time.
