Territory Manager

Norco Foods is a 100% Australian Farmer owned Cooperative with a strong range of Australia’s leading dairy brands, Norco has a sizeable share of the Australian market along with a substantially growing Beverage Brand product portfolio, food service range, and a unique cheese business sold Nationally.

We are looking for an energetic person to fill the full time role of a Territory Manager for our Fresh Beverage division role based in and around the Sydney area.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the successful applicant will become a key member of the sales team. This role involves implementing and achieving the company sales, business priority plan and objectives while developing a professional business relationship with the management of each store in a designated territory. This role requires a high level of communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to negotiate for rewarding outcomes.

Essential Selection Criteria include:

  • Maintain and grow the existing company products in the Café/ coffee shop and independently owned stores.
  • Cold call on customers.
  • Manage and lead the Distributor relationship to improve distribution and growth in the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi faceted team environment.
  • Effective/natural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Sound computer skills in a networked application including SAP would be an advantage.
  • Recent sales experience within the FMCG Beverage Route channel would be preferred.
  • Barista or coffee bean knowledge would be an advantage.

Factory Manager

Norco Co-operative Limited is a well established and dynamic organisation which has grown from a regional dairy co-operative to a national force in manufacturing with interests in Rural Stores, Ice Cream, Stockfeeds, Milk and Cheese.

They are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Factory Manager to join our Norco Foods division and to take responsibility for managing the day to day operations of their milk manufacturing facility located in Raleigh.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Norco Foods Operations, the position will focus on all key areas of the operation including key account management, overseeing production, plant maintenance activities, waste treatment and leading a team of 85 experienced and skilled personnel. This is a diverse and challenging management role which calls for a highly motivated individual who can adopt a proactive and energetic approach to running all aspects of a dynamic business.

Essential selection criteria include:
• Current food management experience associated with manufacturing operations including active involvement with production activities, plant maintenance and continuous improvement programs;
• Previous experience and knowledge of Export Control (Milk and Milk Products) orders;
• Understanding of the applicable importing country requirements for export including applicable documentation;
• Experience undertaking reviews within the milk receival, manufacturing, engineering and waste treatment areas of the Raleigh operation;
• Proven leadership and staff supervisory skills including the ability to effectively respond to front line HR & WHS issues;
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with the ability to effectively negotiate;
• Sound financial skills including the ability to develop & monitor budgets, interpret and analyse production & financial reports;
• Well developed organisational, administrative and computer skills.

This position is permanent, subject to review after three-month probation period.

Blowmould Operator - 12 Hour Roster

We are seeking four energetic and flexible Blowmould Operators who have experience in operating plastic Blowmoulding machines, bottle bagging, debagging machines, labellers, and coders for our busy Milk factory in Raleigh, employing in excess of 60 employees.

The purpose of these positions is to operate all machines in the blowmould room. Employment will be on a 12 hour rotating shift and it will include night shift work.

Essential selection criteria include:
• Demonstrated skills in the operation of blowmould machinery.
• Natural ability to work in a small and busy team manufacturing environment
• Thorough time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines.
• Demonstrated mathematical aptitude with high level attention to detail.
• Ability to be on call with short notice
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated effective/natural communication skills.
• Forklift license considered but not essential
